Harish Srinivas’ research experience covers a broad range of life science areas such as biochemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and molecular biology. He holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science, India, where his research was focused on transcriptional activation of mammalian RNA polymerase II. He did his post-doctoral fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas where he worked on the role of retinoic acid receptors in lung cancer.
Before joining the firm, Harish was a member of the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh, where he led a team to identify and target novel signaling pathways for lung cancer treatment. His scientific experience involves wide range of disease models such as cancer and diabetes. During his tenure at University of Pittsburgh, he was a recipient of the Innovative Cancer Research Award from the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute. He also served as an ad hoc reviewer for many peer reviewed journals.
Harish has published in a number of peer reviewed journals and his research has been presented at numerous national meetings.
Harish received a B.Sc. in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology from Bangalore University, an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Bangalore University, and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
