John C. Hansberry is a partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP, resident in the Pittsburgh office. Mr. Hansberry is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. The breadth of his trial experience covers issues including commercial, intellectual property, insurance, product liability, real estate, and class actions, and litigation related to the mining and manufacturing, electronic fund transfer, ATM technology, medical technology, and insurance industries. Mr. Hansberry regularly counsels financial institutions and affordable housing clients.
Mr. Hansberry practices primarily in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio, and has also handled cases outside the United States in Stockholm, Sweden and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Mr. Hansberry is an active speaker and writer. In 2005, he spoke at a national symposium on consent decrees in public housing cases at Wayne State University Law School in Detroit.
